An Invitation: 10-Minutes of Stillness

As the daylight decreases and nighttime lengthens, I have been feeling the pull towards stillness, a return towards the essential, allowing everything else to fall into the Earth to be composted into new life. (Can you feel it? What’s emerging in you this season?)

At the same time, this past week I was tired most days, further from Source, and filled my drives to work with podcast interviews.

And so, as I’m returning to balance on these days labeled ‘weekend’ by some, if you could use an invitation to stillness, here are four possible entry points:

1. Lorie Ladd Teaching on Stillness
The first 10 minutes of this Lorie Ladd teaching felt potent, and pin-pointed exactly what I’ve been picking up on energetically this month: the call inwards, to more stillness. She reminds us the distractions are part of the programming. Can we sit with the crunchy feelings for just 10 minutes longer than is comfortable?

2. Humming: A Guided, Playful Practice
I recorded this meditation last week, and while it’s longer than 10 minutes total, you can dip in for ten if you’re seeking a guided walk towards stillness.

3. Prayer to Strengthen Co-Creative Power
If you’d like to re-spark/remember our inherent creative power in everyday unseen acts, sit back, get comfortable, and let this prayer wash over you. I wrote it last weekend, and it’s a Premium track on Insight Timer.

4. Turn Off the Screen
Lastly, you can always close / set down the screen you’re reading on, set a timer (or not), and connect in whatever way feels right to you in this moment.

I will always encourage you being in your body, in your tactile live, instead of here on this website.

Go well and rooted into your day,
Rebecca
